All refunds on membership programs are subject to a $20 administration fee. Refund requests must be made in writing and be accompanied by your membership card and appropriate documentation. Cancellation forms are available at the Front Desk. Refunds will not be issued on Specialty Programs after the start date without valid medical certification.

Membership Hold
The YMCA will place a membership on hold for medical reasons and for special circumstances. This maybe done retroactively and requires a doctor’s note. Holds may also be provided for special circumstances. Consult our front desk supervisor.

Membership Card
You are required to scan your valid membership card every time you use the facilities. This helps us to maintain building security and ensure the safety of you and your belongings.

We encourage you to try weight training as a part of your exercise regime. You may book an orientation with one of our front desk staff to learn how to weight train safely and effectively. It will take about one hour and will be provided by a YMCA Canada trained staff or volunteer.

Children under the age of 8 years of age are NOT permitted in the Cross Training Center.

All youth ages 8-17 must have a signed consent form.

8-11 year old MUST be CLOSELY SUPERVISED by an adult at all times (the adult assumes FULL responsibility for the youth).

12-15 years are allowed in the health and wellness center alone once we have the signed consent form and they have had their orientation.

Locker Room Protocol
Lockers are available to members and participants while they are using the facility. Please lock all valuables or if possible do not bring them into the Y. You may use lockers only while you are in the building. Locks left overnight will be removed; contents can be recovered by checking the front desk. Please leave gym bags and other personal items in locker room.  Please DO NOT bring gym bags and backpacks in to the Cross Training Centre.  Food and drinks are not permitted in the locker room.

The YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
